These are a series of works (or topics) that I came across these past 3 months… They can not relate to my work itself, but I believe we need to think and talk about them.
(about the relationship between institution, curator text, and works of art)
Thom Kubli (Germany) – Black Hole Horizon (2012-2015)
“Horizon black hole is a mediation in a spectacular machine that transforms sound into three-dimensional objects and keeps space in constant transformation. The core of the facility is the invention of a vessel horn-like device. With the sound of each tone, a huge soap bubble emerges from the horn.”
Teun Vonk (Netherlands) – The Physical Mind (2016)
“The physical mind allows participants to experience the relationship between their physical and mental states by applying physical pressure to the body. The installation consists of two inflatable objects between which a participant is allowed to be erected and gently squeezed between the curves of the objects”

While I presented my anguish around these artistic questions that are taking my sleep I asked my classmates about some similar case here in England. They reminded me that in 2014 the exhibition “Human Zoo” at the Barbican was closed due to a strong wave of protests. Here the main issues are around ethnicity.
And at that Day, some classmates introduced some artists that I could relate.
He started as a Filmmaker and now he does Light Sculptures (Big Scale Neon works). This is a piece of work that transports you to another space.
Between photography and drawing, manipulation the negative or photogram. His research was about materiality and purely done for the aesthetic.
